Most of my skepticism to live in huge resorts like Bellevue has disappeared. The flat we had was large enough for 4 people, it was light and open, and thanks to many and not too high buildings you never get the feeling to stay in a hotel factory. The price for the flat was also ok. However, we were there in late March and the water in the pool was ice-cold, and we could have needed a heater in the room.

Top Local Tips for Puerto De Alcudia

Good food Food is very English based, lots of English pubs or Pizza places. We tried somewhere new each time and never had a bad meal. Kids meals are excellent value at around E3 and most restaurants have play areas while you wait for your food. Try the kebabs!

Take insect repellent be warned about the mosquitos and go prepared !!!

Mosquitoes Don’t bother with spray wipes or creams they get you anyway. If you are travelling with children take a mosquitoe net with you. I get one for about £4.
