A wonderful mixture of old and new, with views of the harbor and surrounding hills. A former monastary, the hotel has interesting archetecture. Service is very hospitable. Simple rooms with private bath. Indoor and outdoor pools. Lovely, simple. Great walking nearby.

Top Local Tips for Port de Soller

train to palma this is a must. you can get to soller on the tunnel bus-much quicker than the tram. Go to Palma early and do the shops in the morning-have a leisurely lunch-ask for menu del dia! all restaurants have to provide this choice-really good value!In the afternoon see the sights. Worth spending a couple of days in Palma to see it in the evening too! You can stay in the Port without needing to hire a car as the public transport is very good. See Deia and Valldemossa, take a boat trip to Sa Colabra and do the walk to the lighthouse. Go to Soller on the tram and sit in the square-and people watch! Don't miss the walk thro the hills to Fornalutz-see the lovely cemetery! I could go on and on!!

Train from Soller to Palma Get in the first carriage for the best seats, take a taxi from the station in Palma to the Cathedral and walk back, its a long walk otherwise and hard to find through the busy streets.

easy to get around if you do not wish to drive on holiday port de soller is an excellent place to get around by public transport. the tram-the buses-the train to palma. The lovely walks in the mountains for the more energetic! Any time of year there is something for all but our favourite time is the summer as we lovel the warm weather and it is never too crowded. Enjjoy!!
