Top Local Tips for Port d'Andratx

Recommended Restaurants "Coche des 1977" - a nice restaurant at the start of the 'restaurant strip.' Good quality food, seafood and very reasonably priced. (3 courses - 2 people, 2 bottles of wine incl, tip = 90euros.)Also "Trianon" - towards the end of the 'restaurant strip'. Excellent food, fantastic service, nice atmosphere. (3 courses - 2 people, 1 bottle of wine, incl tip = 110euros.) www.trianon-mallorca.com

Not to be recommended for people who want nightlife. The best beach is about 5 miles away at St Elm. Porto Andraitx itself is a boating town.

Transfers The hotel is very happy to organise a pick up and drop off at the airport for 55 Euros each way. Make sure the hotel tells the driver to stand at the same pick up point as you! We waited a while and had to call the hotel as we couldn't find the driver as he was awaiting at arrivals rather than the 'pick up point' which we were told.
