Top Local Tips for Playa del Ingles

Why take the bus when a taxi will do If you are in a group of more than 2 people taxis are generally a cheaper option. For example a taxi to Aqualand is about 4.4 euros, the bus for 2 is 2.40, so if you go the bus stop (nearest to Neptuno is at the front of the Yumbo Centre) and you've just missed the bus, hope in the cabs that park next to the stop, check the fare beforehand, it won't cost you any more. Taxis are everywhere and the most we paid was a couple of Euros.

Asa Superstar of Cafe La Belle Whilst you are in Gran Canaria you must take in the show at Cafe La Belle. Asa is one of their newest acts and soon to be owner. Asa gives a great vocal performance and really knows how to work a crowd very ably supported by Paris and Barbara who do more conventional mime style drag.

Around the hotel You've got the Yumbo Center right behind the hotel and next door to that you've got the Offiicial Hard Rock Cafe(you can't miss the big pink car) and you are very close to all the other commercial centers as well, the beach is a straight shot up the road and is about 1km away from hotel.
