Top Local Tips for Palma de Mallorca

Bus and foot the best way to go. Palma isnt an enormous place but most places are easily accessible by the excellent bus network. A trip to Soller on the train is good fun too. There is a bus from the airport for only 1.95 euro - in sharp contrast to about 30 by taxi.The tourist bus is good value and gives you the usual hop on hop off facility. We were told that taxis were reasonable but if you are looking for a restaurant in the old town then by foot is the only way.

Bike Rental Bike Rental is available nearby for about EUR9 per day. Its a great way to see the harbour area, and go all the way along to coast toward Portixol and the beaches beyond
