Centauro not accepting non EU drivers licenses I booked through Centauro way in advance, but when I arrived to get my car they told me they would not honor my booking as they would not recognise non EU drivers licenses. I have hired from Centauro before (in Malaga) without this problem so I was pretty annoyed by the surprise. As a result I had to pay the rack rate offered by Hertz next door (they accepted my license no problem). The staff at Centauro totally lacked empathy and gave me the impression that they couldn't care less. Avoid them if you don't have an EU license......On a slightly unrelated note...they claimed to be able to check Swansea DL Centre for UK license verification...Mmmm I wonder how that works with UK data privacy legislation.

City tour buses Use the public transport instead of the tour buses, this is a lot cheaper to use. Also the tour buses tend to be very full and quite irregular at busy times.
