Top Local Tips for Nerja

andalucia for non sun worshippers. Nerja would be too hot for me in the summer but is just perfect in Easter and in October. Haven't been in May or September but I'm sure I'd like it then too. at this time of year you can sightsee, walk, get into parked cars and buses without fear of dehydration or sunstroke. You can visit Grenada or Seville and actually be able to see some of it without hordes of tourists although they'll still be plentiful. You might even be able to find somewhere to park a hire car. It's still warm enough for shorts and t shirts and at night you can sit outside under the stars, usually without something biting you.

Round Bar Caille Gloria Nerja Order an alcoholic drink at the bar( beer and wine €1.50) and choose a tapa from the large selection(prawns,ribs and lots more). You get to choose a new one with each drink you order. Four drinks plus four large tapas for six euros! Who needs to eat dinner? Plus it's full of locals and a really buzzy and friendly atmosphere.
