Excellent view, room, staff.
An oasis and a perfect hotel for a romantic break.
Great breakfast too.

Top Local Tips for Nerja

Finding best place to park There is a great public car park with access to main street leading to the square, shops and Balcon de Europa. Follow signs to Parador as Balcon de Europa signs stop abruptly. The final sign to Parador will take you off to the left up to the hotel's entrance - instead of left you need to go straight on heading to the sea , at the end of this street turn sharp right, this will lead to the public car park. There is a small alley at the left of the car park which leads you onto Calle Carabeo turn right, this leads to the shops and Balcon de Europa.

You need at least 2 days to enjoy Nerja You need to thaw and one night is not enough. The best places to eat are small outdoor restaurants at the beach for Paella and grilled seafood. The indian restaurants are surprisingly good for a small place

Donkey Sanctuary This sanctuary is well worth the visit. There are no airs and graces here. If you visit please take some time out on the way to stop at a veggie shop and buy a few. This place is run solely on donations and every carrot is gratefully received. If you are going for a walk, call in at the sanctuary and pick up one of the abanded dogs that they look after and take him/her with you. My husband and I did this several times, we walked two puppies named Ringo and Florrie. Actually, Florrie did not have a name so I named her that. We loved it.
