This was a fantastic break hotel not the most luxurious but done the job , Staff were great and the facility to upgrade to all inclusive drink option was superb . Entertainment staff were very professional and friendly and seen some good shows particularly the three deegrees 3 lovley lassies from South Africa ,,Anyway would go back ....

You get more than you pay for at this hotel, the staff are excellent, a special mention for the two sisters Maria and Paqui fantastic girls! Stayed in a few gold hotels and for what you pay and what you get this is good value! As the Spanish say es magnifico !!

Me and My boyfriend went to this hotel in August and im still wishing i could go back. The food was amazing and the reps were fantastic, there is nothing wrong with this hotel. All should visit.

Just returned from a week at the hotel. Excellent food, excellent entertainment, it was all about Luke but is now all about Ian!! Fantastic friendly staff, especially Juan and Sabina. Made great friends too. No children, plenty of sunshine and a good time was had by all!! I'd definitely recommend it.

Entertainment was brilliant. Kelly and William are very funny and were lovely to watch. Staff were helpful, both the reps and the hotel staff. Food equally good. Room overlooked sea, was a beautiful view. Really enjoyed it.

The worse Gold Hotel

The worse Gold Hotel i have ever been to. My husband could not get a shower of an evening after me as there was no hot water. Bad smells in bedroom coming through air conditioning unit, also muck, dirt and lumps of wood flying out of air conditioning unit.

coach tour get out and enjoy the area car hire or local transport.

Top Tip If Staying In Arenal Den Castell Hire a car and explore the island yourself ... its so easy as there is only one main road which runs across the island .. DONT do the Thomson excursions as they are not value for money and you can do the same days out on your own at a fraction of the price !!

drinks option This is worth it if you plan on staying in the hotel during the whole of your stay....Some people from our hotel ended up in the irish bar spending more money when they had allready paid for there drinks!!
