This was our first attempt at all inclusive and to be honest, we were a little nervous about it. To be honest, we needn't be. The food was always of a good standard, with lots of variety and very little repeat over the two weeks we were there.
Our first week was great with a few kids around (we had 2 with us). The second week was spring bank holiday and the hotel was full. If you weren't in the queue for dinner at 7.00pm, you didn't get in until at least 7.45pm, but then it was Bank Holiday.
Reception and bar staff were great and the kids entertainment, although repetitious hit the spot with the littluns. The evening entertainment was very dance based and quite mixed.
All in all a good holiday and better than expected

We origianally went to this hotel in early september 2004, there was 19 of us and we all enjoyed it and every one was a different age group. fabio the entertainment manager was the best that i have met.
He is devoted to his Job - we even went to the bar accross the road with him on the last night for a goodbye drink, splendid guy! The Bar staff were very friendly, they knew us by name by the second week. Toni was making us coctails by the pool- we all were merry. But the entertainment(inc. silly Club dances) kept you out and we all had a shower and carried on enjoying long into the night, when the bar closed the marina was great for a late night quiet drink, one disco- very spainish, but the bars were good. Do not choose this resort if you are a group of youngsters as night life is non existent, ciudella a taxi ride away is where the serious discos are. The hotel focuses very much on families and children, even couples without children enjoyed themselves. very relaxing holiday, pool, beach, shops and entertainment, all excellent. If you like to stay in 3/4 star accommodation this hotel will suiet you, if you normally stay 4/5(posh Hotels) you won't like it as the hotel itself is a bit dated, but clean, Rooms with view of beach or Harbour, both interesting. If you ignore the standard of hotel and relax you will certainly enjoy yourself. We mixed with all the other guests day and evening, every one was like 'family'! We went back 6 weeks later and stayed for the Oct holidays Great weather(better than Tenerife),Every one again was friendly had a drink with the Manager- it was less busy but in the high season and the Low season hotel sfaff remained efficient and friendly.
We never went last year in 2005 as we went Gran Canaria and totally hated Playa Del Ingles So when we came home we booked the Cala'n'Bosch for sep 2006 for 14 nights, 20 of us going already, can not wait!

Just got back from a great week at this hotel. Was a bit worried by some of the reviews we read before we went but shouldn't have been. We all had a ball from the moment we arrived. Staff were fab especially Miguel, Raul & Sidi the bar staff, also Dan & Hugo (alais Chicco) entertainment boys. The beach was FAB never seen waves like that before, even though i got stung TWICE by jellyfish(got a certifacate for that) we couldn't keep out of the sea.Got to say hi to Susie & Ken 1 from Newcastle also Big Dave from Yorkshire(who thought we were the mafia), Kev & Keith(sharky & george) and all the other lovely people we met, would we go back?......... YOU BET us welshies can't wait till next year.
A Tremendous Holiday

Before I left for this holiday I read the reviews and was a bit disappointed to be going but once I got there all my fears disappeared. The hotel although old was nipping clean the staff were more than friendly, the food was a bit repetitive but was always fresh and well presented and nothing like another reviewer stated but we just went out to The Brittania round the corner a couple of times. There is a brilliant bus service into Cuitadella every 15mins and for only 1.55 euros. All the lifts worked all week and the guy in charge of the entertainment should get a medal for the hours he put in keeping everyone happy. I can imagine it being a bit hectic in the summer but so then is Blackpool.I would definatly go again especialy as it supposed to be getting a full makeover this winter.
absolutley loved it

me and partner are a young couple who have just got back from the resort we loved it a lot we met lots of people we joined in all of the activites and even joined in the shows at the evening. The entertainment team hugo, eva, illaria and pablo were excellent such nice people.
Also the area were the hotel is situated is great as well. but the only problem there was is that you have to leave the bar at midnight or else the security guard will come and myther you to move.

i thought hotel cala'n bosch was brilliant when i went in 2003 and i did when i went this year changed a bit though because you didnt have to get up early in the morning to put towels on bed u still had lots left when u went down about 10 in the morning ive got to say food was repetitive though but still good entertainment was brilliant alaria ugo etc they were brill so were the shows i seen i seen tom jones & the disney spirit & they were both fab. i would definatley go again but would want a bedroom on the 1st floor or something not in the basement because i reckon they should give the people with young children the basement rooms as it is easy for the prams & is more room as you have got 2 bedrooms in them but i would definatley go again ( by the way i am only 13) but this is my point of view thank you
ok Hotel but VERY OLD
from capracotta
The Hotel had a 2 stars standard even if it is a 3 stars.
Rooms are very old (30-40 years). Breakfast was ok, Dinner ok but the restaurant was not very cleaned and dishes were sometimes dirty.
Staff was NOT friendly.
Positive is the fact that the Hotel is really at 50 meters from the Cala'n Bosch beach and it is great.
If you need a car book it in your country!!!
Good standard for UK people but not for ITALIANS!!!
If you go there in high season (june, july and august) probably you'll find a lot of people in all beaches and the sea water will be cleaned only in the early morning.

If you like Butlins you will be happy here!
We arrived to find no rooms available and transferred to Marina
Apartments nearby for one night. Not a great start! Found reception
staff to
be sullen and unhelpful. Hotel very run down, very "Duty Free" style!
Lifts almost always breaking down.
Rooms were average.
Food was what I expected, there was always something I would eat but
after 2 or 3 days everything started to taste the same, not as bad to
be
honest as some reviews have portrayed it, it was always replenished
with fresh food and always full, just got a bit boring after a while,
no
problems with hygiene or quality of food. Restaurant staff were
helpful.
Drink - well - OK but glasses they serve the drinks in are teeny. Bar
service usually very quick and most of the bar staff friendly and
helpful.
Entertainment - Butlins Styleee, great for kids, of which there were
many, but one can only take so much Bingo! Bingo! Bingo! to win Money!
Money! Money! along with the blankety blank tune! However, give big
Fabio his due, he was always there working hard and always with a smile
on
his face. Even looked as though he was enjoying the gorilla dance -
which I hate to admit was rather catchy.
Overall a bit disappointing, would probably not go back here, but for
families the activities etc are great and its a brilliant location.
Cala N Bosch is lovely and a great resort and the hotel is very
central.
Great for families.

shops galore and cobble streets worth a walk round take plenty of photos of the old town and shop shop shop
If you like to read on holiday If you enjoy a book on your sunbed then go to reception and ask if they have any available. For some reason they don't leave books on display but keep them in the office next to reception! You can also find a selection in the Marina Apartments which is the sister hotel.
going shopping don't go into the centre of cuidadela on a Sunday as most of the shops are closed.
