Be aware - a standard room fces a rock face and is quite small and basic. The hotel charges 10euros per night to upgrade to a seaview and believe me it is worth it. However, room is basic, bathroom badly needed refurb and the balcony is very narrow.
Food in the restaurant is poor, badly cooked and not at all appetising. Staff are surly, and you could tell they weren't happy with each other. Queues build up for dinner about half an hour after they start, and even though there are plenty of empty tables, they do not allocate them. There are not enough staff to clear tables. On our last night, all the tables in the section were covered with used plates and dishes. No one was clearing them and there were people queuing to get in.
Entertainment was very good and the pool area is lovely.

Top Local Tips for Ciutadella de Menorca

Calan Bosch Boat Trip When visiting Menorca it is so worth the 18€ to hop on the glass bottom boat trip that takes you all around the Southern coast to the lovely beaches that are quite remote. You sail out for about forty minutes then stop for a couple of hours at one of the beaches where you can either stay on the boat, using the slide (great fun!!) and watching the guys feeding the fish to attract them underneath where you can see them through the glass bottom. Or you can walk round and just laze on the beach!! Heaven!! Calan Bosch is a lovely spot, the restaurants are fantastic especially The Avant - and is a super place to people watch.

Great beaches Travel around and find the quiet secluded coves with good snorkeling

Somni Somni is promoted as a world class attraction but it really is not. It is good but not worth the high price tags it comes with.
