Island tour ect. Don't go on the island tour with your holiday rep. take the plunge and use the man outside the hotel who has been doing tours for 29 years in minorca. Excellent value for money and you will see more of mincora's traditions and sights than if you go with your rep. and its also a lot cheaper.

too expensive Be careful where you eat, most of the food is undercooked especially the meat so always double check before you take a bite, most of the food is very greasy .stay away from the cheeses, they dont refrigerate a lot of it, the food is very expensive even in the supermarkets. No where I went accepted cards so make sure you take plenty of cash in euros. an example of the prices you are looking to pay when dining out in a little cafe, for 2 small pizza and 2 kids meals with 4 cokes you will pay about £40 , the most expensive thing we ate was when we decided to go out for an icecream each, 3 ice creams, 4 drinks and a very small chocolate brownie came to £38 !!! SO beware... in the supermarkets a packet of biscuits lke chocolate hobnobs are £3 a packet, and a small packet of crisps will cost you a £1
