Incredible renovations

We have stayed at the Don Carlos Hotel in 2002 and it was good back then. Recently we saw an article on www.marbellas.com (hotel section) about the 23 million euro renovations and desided to take a trip. The hotel is amazing - so modern, but keeping the friendly welcoming feel we enjoyed before. The gardens are the best for a hotel in Marbella, and now they have a Nikki Beach Marbella on site. Ten out of ten all round.

Great service and happy staff

We go back every year as it's on the beach for kids, excellent breakfasts, walk to all beach restaurants and is convenient with an excellent beach - best time is Easter which is when we're going again this year!

A Waste of Money

Although the Don Carlos is nicely kept and clean, it is a huge rip-off. The $350 per night we spent did not even include a towel and chair by the beach. The restaurant and bar were likewise too expensive. Save your money and find another hotel.
