Excellent rooms and hotel in general

We had a sea view room and it was stunning. The roof top pool and sun lounge area was really nice. abit expensive for the breakfast, 12euro's but the room was only £17.00 and well worth it.
definately go there again, but maybe with my husband to be, as it was my hen party.

This aparthotel is usually rated as 4 star - it may be for its facilities, but is badly in need of refurbishing, not to mention the smell of drains in our bathroom. Fantastic sea views from our 7th floor room, and it is ideally located for the beach and the Old Town. Furnishings old, our fridge had broken bits inside. Pool (9th floor) small, but fortunately not busy.

Top Local Tips for Marbella

Public transport from airport Check out public bus timetable before you leave home to see if departure times coincide with your flight arrival time. Eventhough we had timetable we missed bus by five minutes while waiting to collect bags. So taxi cost €65 and bus would have cost only €4.05 ( great value) per person. We got the bus back to airport. The views were great it was like a tour of the area - wouldn't have seen so much from a taxi. Also public transport around marbella was excellent. Buses always on time and so reasonable

Eating out If you like good food you must go to Da Bruno's Restaurant. The ambience is great and the food is fantastic. There is usually a fantastic singer who will treat your ears to some beautiful classic songs- more of a pavarotti type which is very inkeeping with the restuarant. Also a great bar is the Bananna Tree which is on the promenande Paseo maritimo. The owners Tommy and Brenda are British and will make you very welcome. Their snacks are great,especially the chicken skewers mouth watering.

When all else is shut... There is a small 24hrs 7 day a week shop - think Tesco Metro - a 2 minute walk behind the Hotel Princesa Playa for when everything else is closed.
