Malaga has a hidden treasure!
I recently visited Villa Guadalupe Hotel hidden in the residential and quaint part of Malaga (Puerto de la torre) and immediately upon arrival I knew I was in for a treat! The hotel is a three star hotel and this in itself is an injustice as the hotel stands high on a hill (not for the weak hearted to reach!) and is fantastic. It has the best view of Malaga, particularly for those who are looking for a romantic and peaceful break, but is not too far for those who wish to liven things up in the town of Malaga or it's superb beach resorts. Staff are all extremely friendly and hospitable. The restaraunt is to die for and Amador (top chef) is extremely creative with food and serves to perfection. The meals (three course approx 17 Euros) are simply breath taking whilst you soak up the views with a good glass of Spanish wine. Rooms are light and airy with plenty of space. The art decor is amazing and anyone with an artisitc streak will adore the hotel with it's mosaics and unique art work by the hotel owners!
Don't assume as I did that Malaga is for the under 18's! This hidden treasure is sure to give anyone (particularly romantic couples!) a relaxing break. A MUST STAY AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED!!! By Jo Everett (Birmingham UK)
