Top Local Tips for Malaga

What to see Start in the morning with a ride (bus 35) up to Gibralfaro fortress, have food in the small cafe up there. There is a parador located up there where you can also eat, but they had service/attitude issues and the little patio was just lovely. You can also chat with other resting tourists, very interesting. Then walk down to the Alcazaba and see that with the Roman ampitheatre. Picasso museum is pretty good. Beach is pretty good. Then you are really done with Malaga.

City sightseeing tour As with any City, i would reccomend that you get a ticket for €15 for the city sightseeing bus tour . you get an audio commentary in a choice of languages of all of the best places to see . The ticket is valid for 24 hours from when you first use it. it even takes you up to the gibalfaro on the hill. once you have done a complete circuit you can decide which places you would like to visit and then hop on or off the bus at various points of the city until the same time next day. It is also well worth getting a 7 day Malaga Card for €45 from the Centro Historico (Address No 5 Calle Especerias .press bottom right buzzer to open door), which gives you access to most of the worthwhile attracions eg. Gibalfaro, Alcazabar, cathedral, picasso foundation / museum and birthplace to name but a few. This ticket includes The city sightseeing tour as above for 24 hours
