I've been 5 times!! It's really good for families and teenagers, as there is loads of shops and wuite alot of restaurants. There is a beach right outside of the hotel. The quietest part of the resort!!!

Top Local Tips for Magaluf

Car Rentals It is cheap to rent a car here. It's worth renting a car driving to Palma for some shopping as it is a much bigger city, and a lot more authentic Spanish feel to the place! There are lots more proper shops for browsing in Palma, as well as better Spanish restaurants.

Beautiful Island with castles, winding roads, dramatic sea cliffs, great cycling Get away from Palma and the southwest end of the island. The rest of the island is gorgeous and hasn't been ruined with the tourist trap junk in the stores and greasey restaurants and raucous bars. The drive to the lighthouse was awesome. We saw hundreds of cyclists and would come back for a bike vacation. The one day we rented road bikes we saw alot of cool back roads and small villages on the island, much more charming and interesting than Magaluf.

Beware of the party hill! Unless going on a mad singles 18-30 holiday avoid going up Magalluf Main Street (hill) at nighttime. It is full of hen and stag dos, drunken young people and loads of PR people trying to get you into their bar for free shots and is a pain!! There are plenty of quiter local bars outside of this area with entertainment which are great.
