After returning from Mallorca earlier today and reading the reviews on this site before going on holiday, I thought it a good idea to submit my own review. Myself, my wife and our 2 year old son had a great week at this hotel. Here are some of my good and bad points. On the plus side, the hotel is very, very clean and the staff are most welcoming and friendly. After 10 minutes of arriving, I was not happy with the room we were given and I was moved the next morning, no problems. The food was very good, with plenty to choose from. On the negative side and I think one of the main reasons for letting the hotel down was the entertainment. It starts to late and lacks variation, if this was sorted out, it would make a much better evening. The other thing that was rather off putting at times was the awful smell from the surrounding lake, but it's not all the time, thank god. Overall, if you choose this hotel, you will have a great time, with maybe a few tweeks, hope this helps you with your decision.

This was our first holiday together and we loved it!!!! I got to sunbathe all day while Paul played all the games like water polo, french bowels, riffe shooting everything!! We met people who had kids as well and the kids club was great for them the food was ok but not ur usual stuff from home but everything was so clean got fresh towels all the time!! The entertainers were just the best, tiago (i think thats how you spell it :/ ) was so funny and just brilliant but the rest were just as good and we would definetly go back just to see them all!!!! The only little moan i have is the lack of the sun brollys :/ but that was all so all in all it was great!!

Went to the hotel a few years ago had a great time - lots of entertainments for kids and adults, not this time hardley no entertainment day or night . The food was awful and not much variety. The hotel is very clean and spacious, the room had a pool view, but very noisy at night. The island was closed 5 days before the hotel was due to close and the tables and chairs were being stacked while guests were still on holiday. All in all the worst holiday I have been on and many other guests said the same and none of us would return to this hotel.

Hotel is well catered for kids and families, entertainment is excellent for the children, but can be a bit too much if you are also looking for a little bit of relaxation by the pool. We stayed for 2 weeks and the 1st week we spent in and around the hotel because of our little girl aged 8, she loved the Kids club and made loads of freinds, she went in the kids club morning and afternoon for the 1st week and she really enjoyed the nightime entertainment, however it made us a little stir crazy and the 2nd week we ate out in the evening every night, which made us feel we were on holiday, and not just one of the cattle. Although people who were in groups seemed to enjoy the hotel, but as a couple we found it a bit restrictive. We did however meet some lovely families and couples who were really good company, so it wasn't all bad!!

This was our first holiday away as a couple and neither of us had had a proper holiday abroad before. We looked at self catering and it was only £100 cheaper for 2 weeks than it was all inclusive at the Lagomonte, so even if you miss a few meals its still great value for money. The cleanliness is second to none, the food is good, the staff very friendly and having San Miguel and Sangria on tap is fantastic!! The hotel is more family orientated but as we were looking for a sight seeing holiday and not a young party holiday the place was fine and we met some nice families. if your runnin out of pennies by the end of the week just grab yourself a rod and go fishin on the lake outside the hotel (though fishing off the hotel island or bridge is "forbidden")as it provides hours of entertainment (if you like that sort of thing) and costs nothin! We were famous at the hotel for our time spent fishin hehe. Only disappointment about the hotel was no kettle in the room, that would have put the rating up to 10 (my partner-tea in the morning=scary!!!) overall fantastic place and were already lookin at prices to come back in a few months time.

This was the first time we stayed in a hotel as before we have always hired villas. The food was great but they could have named some of the things as it was quite hard to work out what they were even though there was a menu outside the entrance ! The rooms were very clean with the maid service everyday. The entertainment was quite ropey but the staff did try to get the kids and the adults involved at all times. I will certainly go back again as it is definitely value for money. Please do try this hotel you wouldn't regret it !!

The complex is kept clean & tidy to a high standard. Location to Alcudia main center is only 5 minutes walk. The food is very good, although a bit repetative. The entertainment staff work very hard but seem limited to ideas, the sound system needs updating. We bought a CD of our 8 year old son singing on kareoke night but the CD wont play back in the UK so be warned. Some rules are enforced more than others i.e dont put towels on sunbeds is a joke. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.If they would just polish up on a few of the things we've mentioned it would get better ratings. adios

Hotel was very clean staff were plesant and the food was first class with plenty of variaty, evening entertainment was a bit ropey though the staff try really hard, third time we have stayed here and would go back, if they spent a bit more cash on better entertainment it would be 10 out of 10 and perfect, but that is just my opinion, alcudia on the whole is a wicked place and would recommend the lagamonte :-)

We have just come back from the Lagomonte Hotel and found that the cleaniness was 1st class, in the early morning the public areas was a hive of cleaners doing their jobs, and a fine one at that.
We found the food was good, not like some hotels where everything tastes the same, there was a great selection as well. We had our 5year old grandson with us and he really enjoyed the night time entertainment, they even had some benches right at the front for the children to watch the adult entertainment which meant they could all see and being together made it all the better for them.We would definatly go back again. Great for the kids.

We went to Hotel Lagomnte and we thought the food was great and the service and staff... When we first got there I thought the walls were really thin and you could hear nextdoor really well but then I got ust to it... My family thought it was as well because if you wanted to go to the Alcudia Beach there was a free bus there every 45 minutes to take you there and pick you back up. Also you wanted a sunbed around the main pool you would probably have to get up early to get some but, there is an island just outside the hotel (part of the hotel) which opened at 10:00am so it gave you time to have your breakfast and get there for 10am. Overall I think my stay at the Hotel Lagamonte was great!! Oh and I forgot the enertertainment was great to!
