Our family visited lagomonte last year and have just recently returned from our 2nd year, the hotel staff and food are 2nd to none. Our only criticism is of ourselves for not booking two weeks, we wont be making the same mistake next year!!! Lagamonte Rocks!

It was really good it was my first time abroad, apart from the near death experience by eating some of the out of date pork I survived to make a healthy recovery in hospital.

I have just came back from the lagomonte 27/6/04 and boy am I glad to get back, I went with my partner and my 3 kids, and from the second day we all took it in turn to be ill we all suffered from a sickness bug even my 2 year old was waking up at night being violently sick, I saw people sick while eating their dinner, and when I pointed it out to the rep she told me that their was a sickness bug all over the island, but with that still didn't find think it was worth telling everyone, so parents were very worried when waking up at night with their sick kids wondering what was wrong with them, so if your pregnant I would think twice about going. The food was ok for a couple of days then got very boring very boring indeed so much we ended up going to a bar to eat, the beer was awful and it must of been 0.2 proofim not saying it was watered down but there was something wrong, the pool was a basic pool and packed, all the parents were so stressed that I saw two fights while I was there.

just got back today , didn't want to come home, the lagomonte is excellent, food superb, entertainment second too none, service always with a smile, nesa is a honey x definitely will be going back !!!!!!

Hotel full of rowdy English. Unruly children, tattooed parents, noise. This hotel really does not deserve 3 star rating, 2 more likely. Whilst the bedrooms are perfectly adequate, the air con only works in the pm, so it is stifling in the mornings. The entertainment is akin to Blackpool, although I think they work hard, they really only cater for the holiday camp approach. The food, although plenty of choice, was repetitive. The lack of sun beds caused the sunbed brigade to be waiting from 8.45 am for them to be unlocked, and they would be grabbed and reserved with towels within minutes. Hotel clean, towels changed daily, sheets twice/week. Receptionist English worked hard, gosh, I don't envy her job working with all those rowdy English, lager-drinking yobs. We definitely won't be going there again, and it is true that you get what you pay for! If you like Butlins, you will like it here, if not, and you want peace and quiet, forget it!

I got back from the Lagamonte and after the bad reports I read about it I had to let you let u know its so untrue....had such a great holiday food really nice and the entertainment was excellent Neely, Chris and the rest of the team never stop working hard. My son whose 5 loved the kids club and the play area he met loads of friends. Rooms where immaculate and bedding and towels changed every day. Of course there where people winging on about stuff but I cant wait to go back. Lots of friendly people, sun loungers and bar open from 10am to 12 met some great friends had had load of laughs.

Me my husband and my 2 kids thought the holiday was fab and the entertainer Neeley is the best person we have ever met, she is amazing both with the children and as an adult we thought she was very clued up in every aspect of her job. A true professional...
