Madrid's Metro is Marvellous Use fhe Metro. We took a cab from the airport to the city centre. The cost was about 30 Euros. The same trip on the Metro is 2 Euros. (Anywhere other than the airport, the Metro fare is 1 Euro. The network is quite extensive with 10 lines. Compared to London, Paris, Moscow, or New York, the Metro is very clean, seemingly safe, easy to use, well signed, with beautiful stations.
