Over rated as a 4 star hotel, not all printed information on booking is available on arival. Accomodation is very basic no tea coffee making facilites. They have very thin walls, you can hear neighbours conversation on both sides. If you stay in bugalows the stairs that goes up to the 1st floor are metal and transmit sound very effectively throughout the complex. These should be changed from metal to concrete as while you try to sleep with the constant movements of other guest will keep you awake at night. When cleaners are working you get no siesta, again because of there metal trolleys that they drag around with them from one end of the complex to the other. The resaurant for a 4 star as they call it has a very limited menu and cost the earth. The bar again is very limited and expensive food is left uncovered for the flies to have a feast. There is no provision if you happen to be a none smoker. Location is great for the airport but unexceptable for grabbing a quick meal or eating out. You will have a 15 minute walk with a busy road or if you miss the bus a 15 minute wait added to journey. Although they offer a laundry service there is no way of you just ironing of pack your own. Once you get to the metro or bus station the service and cost is fantastic recommend to get the day pass or if many trips a 3 / 4 days pass is ideal. To sum up first impression of the hotel was very good but on close up it all needs knocking down and starting again keeping all staff but raising hotel standards to four star, Which means if the hotel was rated 1 / 2 star this hotel would do. but for a four star it fails miserably and we would not be returning again.

Pleasantly quite, but ...

Did enjoy our stay, pleasantly quiet location - wonderful to have late night collection from airport, but disapointed that no food available at hotel - also got lost trying to find local cafe-bar! Better maps of locality and of Madrid transport system would be helpful. Staff were very pleasant and courteous. I would visit this hotel again.
