Quiet, unpretentious, great value, nice people, would stay again

We visited our daughter who was studying in Madrid, and stayed in several hotels in Madrid, Toledo, Granada and Malaga. The Aristos Hotel was by far the best value. It was a bit hard to find, but it was very clean, the people were nice (and spoke English, which was very helpful to us), and the room and bathroom were both quite large. The hotel is not close to the downtown area, and although we had a car, there was a metro station a couple of blocks away so it was very easy to ride the metro downtown. Of all of the hotels we stayed in, the Aristos is the only one I would return to if I visit Madrid again.
