El Botin not worth the trouble, went after reading rave revews but had a very ordinary meal

Fascinating museum Visit Museo de America....Moncloa metro station...15 min walk from Gran Via.fascinating story of the Americas...their history art and culturetold in a non imperialist manner.

saving money in Madrid Find Price Fix Restaurants includes beverage, 2 entrees, dessert- great value- Use the El Corte Ingles to purchase food to save money. Madrid is a great walking city, but the Metro is excellent and The Madrid Vision is a good value for some one who has never been to Madrid. Check out the times the museums are open for free to the public stay but stay awy on the weekends because it is too crowded.Enjoy Madrid!
