Don not miss Don't miss the Museum of Decorative Arts and the Fundacion Caja Madrid, and the Royal Tapestry Museum, small, excellent museums without the crowds. Shopping along Calle Serrano and the two parallel streets to the east are just like Madison Ave. in NY. Looking for a real espedrills (shoes) store - try Antiqua Casa Crespo. This is a great little store with espidrills of every color, style and heel height at fabulous prices! Don't miss the thick hot chocolate at Chocolateria San Gines and Casa Lucas on Calle Cava Baja has, by far, the best tapas.
