Alone
Loved this hotel, for being such a large hotel things were easy to find and areas marked easy enough to find, food was lovely with a great variety for all tastes. Staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble! Wouldn't hesitate recommending this hotel, although may not be suitable for the unfit [ha] fairly steep location.

Great Service, staff wonderful
My 14 year old daughter and I have just returned from Paradise Park Hotel and we were very impressed. We booked last minute through Jet 2 and paid half the usual price. The hotel was immaculately clean, the food wonderful with a varied selection and the staff more than helpful. Our room was well equipped (twin standard) with a safe for which there was a small charge and a fride (Bliss). I think our room was probably due a refurb as it looked slightly dated with 80's furnishing, but we found it spotless every day. The entertainment was a little cheesy but varied. There is a lot of organised sports etc for families and adults and the entertainment team are very charming. I would recommend this hotel it had a predominantly spanish clientel which I like. Shame the weather was bad, but we had a fun time.

We love this hotel
We stay at this hotel at least once a year and we find the food to be excellent, plenty of choice for both breakfast and dinner. The service in the bars and restaurant is very good and the reception staff are helpful. The rooftop is very good as it is adult only so you can relax and enjoy the weather. Try the junior suites they are real luxury and you get tea and coffee making facilities. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Hotel not 4*, food good but never hot!
Definitely not our idea of 4*. The rooms were very small and if your room was set on an angle as ours was, then when the neighbours flushed their toilet the noise was very loud. We first noticed this as we were dozing off on the first night around midnight. (We awoke with a start and wondered what was happening).
The food was plentiful and varied but the hot food was never hot only luke warm. The restaurant was a little dingy as it was situated below street level. The restaurant staff were polite and courteous and very attentive to our needs unlike the reception staff who took three requests and 40 minutes to switch on the lights in the public seating area at 21.30 hours!!
Los Cristianos was not my idea of a perfect holiday retreat as there were too many Brits.

It is going down big time
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel since 1997 and the standards are going down big time. When we first found the hotel in 1997 it was immaculate and a very good five star rating, but over the last few years the standards have fallen. The last three times we have stayed we have found cockroaches in our room and once we found lots of them crawling up the wall behind the bed. The last time we stayed we up graded to a suite but still found cockroaches in the bathroom and on the bedroom floor, also holes in the bed linen. It is a great shame that the hotel owners have spent so much money on the new spa but forgotten to update the hotels interior. We will not go back again.
