Top Local Tips for Los Belones

Taxis from Murcia to La Manga Taxis can be had for 50 euros. A Mercedes minibus took us back from La Manga in excellent comfort.

It's a bit of a bun-fight parking your hire-car at Murcia airport When you rent a car from the UK, ask the company if they have an allocated set of parking spaces at Murcia airport. When we were last there, the spaces were un-designated so you could return the care more-or-less to anywhere. Now the competition is pretty cut-thoat and certain companies have rented/bought spaces. If you try to park in one of these spaces, you will be told off, loudly. You will then have to struggle to find somewhere to park, unload your suitacases, go back to your rental company and then return the keys. Serious hassle at the end of a nice break.
