We stayed at the Sun Club Eldorado at the end of June 2005 as a post-exam treat for our teenage children and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were a little concerned by the 2 star rating but need not have been. Granted the rooms are small and basic but they are clean and perfectly adequate. The pool areas were great; very clean with lots of sunbeds and plenty of space. The restaurant again was very clean and there was lots of choice at all meals. The bars did close striclty at 11.30pm when if you still want a drink you can go into the air conditioned disco and pay (not cheap drinks but the entry to the disco is free). The disco is open to 3am. The entertainment was good although being very remote you couldnt easily go anywhere else. Mostly used by French and Belgians (we were the only English family there) but all announcements made in English and being the only Brits didn't bother us at all. TRAVEL Hire a car to get out and about as hotel isolated
make it a dining experience major improvement in quality and variety of food required,and all rooms need major refurbishment.
