headwaiter nightmare!
on arrival most impressed by how clean the hotel was.lovely big beds and very nice and cool.dream was shattered on day 2.my son had his ds nintendo simply disappear from the room. what more can we say about that matter. The dinning area was very cramped and we never saw the staff smile....it was as though they were not allowed to. both female and male waiters seemed somewhat bullied by this older gossiping waiter. He constantly clock watched and would quite often take it upon himself to lock the dinning room doors so you could nt enter. The food was very repetative and COLD.....over all the hotel was spoilt by the sight of unhappy staff....apart from the one of course who got away with something that did nt belong to them.We recieved no apology or explanation when reported.

Lower those stars
Breakfast was terrible. I only eat scrambled eggs and the one time they served it they were already green. Croissants and bread were cold and they don't let you put the croissants on the toaster. The head waiter got upset that we drank 2 cups of coffee, he figured we should only have one. You have to pay for water at dinner and can't bring your own in. We barely managed to squeeze in 3 people into the elevator, my male companion has a big belly & had to stand sideways and squeeze me close to him so 1 more person could fit in. There was a radio in the room? Dinner was ghastly, and was probably left overs from some wedding or party from the day before. Salads were mainly from beans and egg salad from morning leftovers. Dessert consisted of the same fruit and ice cream every day. Coffee machine was turned off in the evening and they made sure only one worked at a time. Waitress was very nice, friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and big as well as clean. I'd give them 3* for that. If I ...Read more

3* for B&B and only 2* for halfboard!
This hotel is rated as a 4* Hotel, I would rate it as a 3* for bed and breakfast only and 2* for halfboard. On a busy road, 10 minute walk to beach. Breakfast buffet OK, bacon was good, although rolls and croissants cold and not fresh. evening meal was absolutely disgusting and uneatable. Salads leftover vegetables from previous meal with added mayonnaise, no choice of meat, usually chicken or fish, or grizzly meat, they even had the nerve to serve omelets for dinner. Desert consisted of same fruit and creme brulee every evening. It seems that the food was brought in by caterers and was cold. Head waiter most unpleasant. We complained to our guide and on our last day Management gave us a glass of Sangarilla to soften us up! Only 2 small lifts (for 3 people), a long wait to the 6th floor. Use of fridge 6 Euro deposit plus 3 Euro per day, also a charge for safe deposit box. Radio did not work in room. Rooms are large and clean. Cup of coffee 1.50 Euro, at the hotel, elsewhere in Spain 1....Read more
