I hired a double room with balcony, fitted with an air conditioner which was available at €4 per night extra.
The balcony was quite small, but had two chairs and a small table - adequate for sitting outside to sink a pint or two with a friend. The room was quite roomy, with a generously sized bathroom adjoined. Two double beds were in the room, although they were not as big as doubles found in UK homes - I thought they were about the size of what a wide twin sized UK bed would be.
There were several power points for gadgets, a small tv with a wide variety of channels (only CNN in English however) and two chairs with a table, two bed-side tables and a chest of drawers. A built-in wardrobe with safe was in one corner of the room.
Internet access is available in the public area, along with a comfortable sitting room and a pleasant bar and patio.
Self service breakfast consisted of a wide variety of food and drinks, produced to a high standard, and can be taken in the dining room or on the patio.
Very friendly staff who spoke good English and German (and a smattering of other tongues between them) made our stay comfortable, and I would have no qualms about going back to this hotel in the future.
