Top Local Tips for Granada

Book in advance for Alhambra/Tourist pass The Alhambra is gorgeous but really badly managed, with respect to the ticketing system. I tried to book the Alhambra in advance through their website, but waited too long (I only tried to book about a week in advance) and all the internet tickets were sold out, and all the Granada tourist passes were sold out, so I had to line up for 2 hours in the rain to get into the Alhambra (then when I got up to the ticket window, finally, some guard thought I'd tried to jump the queue and tried to physically expel me from the ticket building - not a good experience). I'd recommend you book as soon as you can to ensure you can skip all that queuing and messing-about.
