Top Local Tips for Granada

Use public transport Do not bother with a car if you are travelling around Andalucia. We travelled from Granada to Cordoba to Seville on public transport & it was very easy. I would imagine that trying to find a hotel in any of these cities would be very stressful & a total nightmare. Ditch the car & travel by bus & train - easy, cheap & stress free!

Got everything? Well then hide it! Petty theft is rife throughout Spain. Here are some no-no's that will help ensure that no one spoils your vacation with a theft: 1. Don't leave anything on a cafe table - this means your wallet, cell phone, money. 2. If you are carrying a bag and sitting at a cafe, don't even leave it under your chair. Loop your leg through the hole. 3. If you see a gypsy come up, don't make eye contact. Watch their hands and feet as they will try to distract you. Granada is an amazingly wonderful city, so make your vacation that way! Be alert and enjoy yourself. :)
