Top Local Tips for Granada

Take a pocket dictionary Unlike the usual coastal areas in Spain (places I personally LOATHE), Granada is not a city where everyone speaks English. This is great if you want to really experience the culture..but you will need a little dictionary to get by especially in the restaurants.....the translations will have you in stiches (i.e., cox stail stew!!!). Try and speak the lingo. The "granadinos" are friendly and happy in most places (but not the type of false, overfriendly attitude you can find in other areas), so dive in at the deep end and give it a go.

Airport Bus There is an airport bus that goes back and forth from the airport. It is cheaper than a cab. It picks up and drops off at several location including in the center of downtown and near Palacio de Congresos.
