Top Local Tips for Gernika Lumo

Bizkaibus if you're traveling in a group and want to go the the Painted Forst of Oma, of the Caves of Santimamiñe, it's better to take a taxi. The Bizkaibus only runs once every 2 hours and from what I heard isn't very reliable. Their website is also very confusing and from my initial attempt, the employees I interacted with from Bizkaibus weren't helpful either. Split up between 2-4 people, a taxi might even be cheaper. Just make sure you get the phone number to call a return taxi when you're done your trip, as both attractions are kind of in the middle of nowhere.
