My husband and I had a wonderful two weeks in this hotel.Staying from 24 Dec till 7 th January.Christmas day guests were treated to a Gala dinner repeated again with a different menu on New Years day.

Waiter service was provided for the two dinners as the meals are normally buffet style. Heating on at all times in hotel so we were never cold.

Towells changed and bathroom cleaned every morning.Only one pillow for each bed on requesting two more they were suppled with no trouble.

Safety deposit box in room hair dryer and mini fridge also TV with two Brittish channels.

Train stop at the hotel 1 Euro 20 cents single takes you into Fuengirola if you get a return ticket it works out cheaper,you must get your ticket from the machine on the platform before boarding the train. Train goes as far as Malga passing through Belamadena Torremalinos runs every 15 mins either way.

This was our third stay in this hotel .Same time each stay we found it to have mosly Spanish guests as its a very Spanish Hotel entertainment every evening is in Spanish.But at no time were we made to feel unwelcome.

Breakfast and dinner we found to be good plenty of choice. Water was 1 Euro per bottle and a good wine was 3-50 Euros upwards,staff very helpful and friendly.

This is not a hotel for children and young people at this time,as its mostly seniors.

You can go the blanket trips to Mijas and Ronda free if you go to the demonstration it lasts about 40 mins where you get the choice of a glass of Champagne and a soft drink.

Worth a visit to the meeting as you are picked up from your hotel at it gives you a chance to have two hours in Ronda on a Thursday same in Mejas on the Friday free. No hard sell either no one come round to see if you will buy. You are left to decide if you want to buy anything , some do some dont its up to the individual.

Gibraltar is a Wednesday trip for 15 Euros you get 5 hrs in Gib to wonder arround at your leisure.Again pick up and drop off at your hotel.

Not a lot going on regarding entertainment on the seafront at this time. We found it very safe to walk in and arround the town.

Top Local Tips for Fuengirola

Train Ust the train to get around it is cheap and you can't get lost as there is only on line there and back.

getting around bus and train stops are nearby.

getting about When first arriving use rail link from Malaga airport to Fuengirola get of at Torreblanca stop and walk through carpark , go through opening in hedge turn left and you are directly behind the hotel. Save yourself the cost of taxi. Also when going to the beach take a short cut through the hotel gardens. If you want to go to Miramar shopping centre take the line 4 bus, the last stop is the cenrtre. Worth a visit as some very nice shops. Not all shops have chip and pin so have photographic id.
