NEW HOTEL FLORIDA SPA (FUENGIROLA). Have just arrived back from this brilliant hotel where do I start when you arrive you are greeted as you get off the bus by the porter who takes your cases into the hotel then to your rooms he shows you how to operate the a/c and the plasma TV on the wall we were on the 11thfloor over looking the harbour. The bathroom was a luxury all glass, chrome, and marble, plus a large walk-in shower with bath robes elegant soft furnishings laminated floors and rugs at the bedside we also had a fridge and a safe deposit box for the use of free of charge.
The dining room was very well laid out buffet service for breakfast, which included bacon, sausage, egg, beans, tomatoes, and freshly made omelettes, and plenty of cereals and fresh fruits, and waiter service for dinner with a good selection of salads and sweets and choice of four dishes for the main meal, which you ordered.
The staff in the dining room Maria, Monica, and Mike did a fantastic job, as there were only 21 people in the hotel the first week and 48 the second week when ever you went into the dining room there were never more than 6to8 people at any one time you felt that you had your own personal waiter.
The staff working in reception were always pleasant and helpful and always spoke to you when you came in or went out, with the Hotel only a few months old it was very quiet it was a shame not seeing this lovely hotel with a lot more people in as this the best HOTEL Ive ever stayed at and that includes the U.S.A
There wasnt any entertainment on as such but they did have a pianist (very good) who played every night to just a handful of elderly guests but once this hotel gets established you wont be able to book as it will be so popular and I would not be surprised if it didnt finish up a platinum hotel because it does have a touch of class we will definitely go back AGAIN and AGAIN
