Top Local Tips for Estepona

Estepona, Puerto Banus & Marbella Estepona is nice but off the beaten track - nothing to do - you could die of boredom and no one would notice!. Puerto Banus is described as the playground for the rich and famous - more like the Bar Crawel for the Chavs and Wags. Gangs of British lager louts on Stag and Hen weekends getting drunk, wearing fotball T-shirts and chanting fottball songs. Didn't like it. Marbella is a nice pretty town, especially the old part of town (Orange Square). the whole area though is overated with high prices for poor quality food and service. People will not tolerate this and will begin to avoid and go somewhere else

Two restaurant clusters There are several restaurants in the old city, along pedestrianized Call Real and between Calle Terraza and Calle Santa Ana. The closest parking for the old town is from eastbound Av de Espana, across calle Santa Ana. Also, there is plenty of restaurants at the marina, entrance to the parking is from the westernmost end of Av. Luis Brialle.

Rental cars Book with a reliable company who will give you a decent car.The rental companies now charge 60 euros for a full tank of fuel and request that you bring it back empty, which is impossible and not practicle if you don,t intend to use the car a lot.
