I went to Molinos Park in may just after my exams with my Mum and Brother. I coulnd wait to get away from Scotland and relax after my exams. We were a bit weary at first after reading everyones reviews of the hotel on the Internet but I could not fault this hotel. I mean, for the cheap prices and it only being a 3-star it was excellent. There was plenty of choice at dinner and breakfast etc. The hotel was very clean as they were getting cleaned everyday. Cap Salou was a very quiet place which i liked. If you want more atmosphere or business go to the centre of Salou! Nightclubs... everything! I enjoyed Molinos Park that much I have recently booked up to go again in 2008 with my boyfriend. I love it! I dont understand why people are such moaners?

WORST HOTEL IN THE WORLD

We have just returned from Salou and Hotel Molinos Park. This hotel was a nightmare. Anyone saying anything else at the time we were there must be sleeping in the streets.
The rooms were small and not kept particularly clean. Our bath had foot prints from the previous occupants and it was still like that the whole time we were there. The maids were surly. The bar area smelled bad most of the time as did the pool area. The tables in the bar and pool area were never clean in the morning or for that matter at any time for the first week we were there. The pool area in the evening looked like a bomb site. There were those annoying plastic tumblers littering the tables and full ashtrays all over the place. The bar staff never cleaned it in the evening. Perhaps they were too busy serving customers.....not at all. The bar staff were a nightmare. They were ignorant, arrogant, and obnoxious and some of them smelled like they hadn't had a bath for a month. They ignored customers standing right in front of them whilst they chatted amongst themselves. Even when they did serve you they were surly as if they were doing you a favour. While they were serving customers, knowing most of them did not speak Spanish, they spoke about the customers, passing comments back and forth amongst themselves. THEY WERE THE PITS!!!!!! The restaurant staff were just as bad. They rammed their trolleys into customers their tables and chairs. They too spoke about the customers loudly and shouted to one another across the dining hall, even squabbling among themselves. The managers of the bar and restaurant had no control over their staff at all. The staff constantly disrespected their managers and their customers. They were a miserable and sullen lot.
The other really bad part were the customers themselves. A mixture of English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish. The English were easily identifiable by their need to wear their Engerlund football tops. The Scottish were the same except they wore Rangers or 'Cellic taps'. Some of the Irish had to try and drink the bar dry, and the Welsh speaking a language no one else could understand. A real mix of trailer trash. Even the unemployed can afford to go on holiday to Hotel Molinos Park. I think the hotel must have had an open day at the local social security offices in the U.K.

Allocated on arrival but definitely would not go back to this hotel again. Food was pretty poor & alcohol served at this predominately all-inclusive hotel was cheap & nasty. Vodka was no better than paint stripper. Too many kids running riot throughout hotel with hardly any parental supervision. Pool area too small for amount of guests but on the upside hotel had 4 Jacuzzi pools on roof for over 18s only. Walls of rooms were paper-thin & you could hear people having a normal conversation through them. Rooms pretty basic but a bit smelly & quite a lot of ants. Cap Salou quite a small place with limited entertainment but would recommend The Crows Nest for regular live acts & friendly staff.

i went for a 10 day stay and it was the best i've had yet.
the staff were amazing - reception, entertainers, kitchen, maids (respectful to your stuff and you).
Bar Staff were the best of them all as they were easy going and entertaining doin tricks with the ice when it wasnt too busy.
Overall the hotel was quite clean and the food was pretty good, there was almost always something to do if you wanted and entertainment varied.
Beaches were quite full but you could always find somewhere to sit.
Will definately be going again as soon as possible :D

This hotel is a disgrace and the worst we have ever stayed at.This hotel does not deserve a rating of 3 star, more like no star.
The rooms are dirty and in need of decorating. Ants in the rooms and bedding, the management are extremly rude along with the staff. The noise in the hotel is so loud.
The food is awful and recycled.
this hotel need a good overall, never ever again.

This was a bargain holiday, good food, great location right next to the bus stop and taxi rank.
nice clean friendly hotel, friendly staff only problem being was the walls are paper thin but if you can escape screaming children it's spot on. So impressed with price etc returning this year!!!

Place smelt of sick. Entertainment was good, Dave the entertainer was brilliant. Food not too good and the same every night. Didn't mind the noise too much as I am only 19 so I was out having fun and met some great friends especially the Liverpool lads and 2 great girls, Erica and Paige. Bar staff were cool, one was a bit cocky but the others seemed ok so all in all it was a good holiday

I thought this hotel was pathetic. The food was rubbish and the walls in the rooms were paper thin. The noise was a disgrace. The only god thing about the hotel was the entertainment at night MJ and Dave were superb. The hotel had a smell of sick to it all the time which put our families off right away. Rooms were being broken into which someone told us as soon as we arrived. There were eleven of us all together six adults and five kids but nothing for the kids to do. Won't be going back.

We paid for two rooms as there are five of us including 2 young children, when we got there at 11.45 at night we were told they only had one room available, after arguing with someone who obviously doesn't like English people, we ended up with 5 sleeping in 4 beds. We changed hotels the morning after, they even tried to charge for 2 rooms, in a way it was a blessing because every one we spoke to hated being there, the room was really small. All in all I found the people of Catalunia were very prejudice against the English apart from when we were spending money with them. I won't be going there again.

Top Local Tips for Salou

Sunday stroll All of Salou is on the beach or strolling along the front on Sundays. There is volleyball, football, and plenty to do and see. Public transport is good, and there are loads of reasonably priced bars down the side streets for a welcome cold drink on the way.

port aventura Purchase you tickets for port aventura before you go, it works out alot cheaper. WE got a 7 day pass for the price of 3 from teletextickets for £39. which ment we could go every day of our holiday if we wanted.

Dining Eat out the food is CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
