Beautiful location and beautiful and tranquil hotel. Staff very friendly and courtious. I refuse to stay in any other hotel in Salou. Nearly impossible to book it on the Irish Market!!! Going to stay there again in June, fourth time staying at this hotel. Ideal for a stress free break.

First of all it was in an awesome location right by the beach. Then the food was great they where always bringing fresh food out, the staff where also great and the security of a night was fantastic he was always somewhere in the hotel and always friendly the receptionists where really nice if you needed anything they would help you they have and excellent games room and a great bar the rooms where great always clean and fresh towels when you needed them I often stood on my balcony of a night after we came home from the wonderful pubs and clubs. I cant recommend it enough you should go there its amazing.

Viva Las Vegas!

My boyfriend and I got a last minute deal to Salou. When we were told we would be staying at the Hotel Las Vegas my initial reaction was 'what a tacky name'. However when we arrived on our first night we could not beleieve how beautiful and exquisite the hotel looked compaired to all the others we had seen in our venture to the resort. The rooms are very basic but well kept. cleaners made sure it was left spotless every day. Ours overlooked one of the 3 swimming pools belonging to the hotel. The hotel caters for all age groups and holiday makers. There are many activities for children as the hotel features a separate play area and shallow pool. Also there were on sight entertainers at night which the children seemed to enjoy.
There are also areas available to relax such as a stunnigly decorated lobby and balcony overlooking the pool.
There was a great choice of food on offer and it was all prepared to perfection. I never heared any complaints from any guest. Staff on reception wre helpfull and friendly, they made you feel like you were the only guests in the hotel. Bar staff impressed me the most as I noticed they worked long hours but were always extremely friendly and always smiling. It was also a pleasure to see that they treat there job with professionalism as they never stared or tried to make passes at young girls like a lot of waiters and bar staff do. Our stay at the Hotel Las Vegas was a happy one. I would definetly look forward to my next stay.

Top Local Tips for Salou

Watch out Watch out for the dodgy people selling tickets at the bus stop, pay and get your ticket on the bus!Get the train the barcelona not the bus!

excursions Public transport is cheap and they offer exactly the same trips as all the tour operator- we paid 47 euros for the Barcelona football stadium and magic fountain trip, we later found out that the same trip using the local bus company was 26 euros!

drinks you get huge measures, and nicely priced drinks at cafe kahlua :)
