The hotel was lovely, very clean and cool staff very helpful, Fernando(entertainment) brill with the children and adults alike ideal location beach and shops etc walking distance. So good we went back in September that same year.

I stayed at the Cye hotel for a week and I can say that the bedrooms were clean, the price was good and all the staff were nice and helpful. All the staff were good with kids and the entertainment was brilliant at nigh so I give it a good review.

Brill holiday, very very clean hotel,food was good. the entertainment was great and for the kids 2.fernando the kids entertainer was fantastic, we loved him. He entertained them through the day and night. Also ana who worked in the nursery was great 2. My son wanted 2 go in there every day 4 an hour. The beach was about a 5 min walk and was very clean. We will be booking soon 2 go back next year.

This has been the worst holiday I have ever been on. Do not go there! All the staff are rude. Trains constantly going past. There was grime in the pool and cockroaches in my bed.

Price very good, location excellent for beach, shops and eating out, one bar we found was Corra Lyn and Paco the man was very welcoming to us and we had a lot of fun there with the children. The area is very pretty and lots of nice walks, beach clean and safe and as for what people say about the train noise, you don't hear it, its a load of rubbish, ok in the day you do but its not that bad and as for the night, they must have been very light sleepers, we never heard it once. We will go back.

Stayed at these apartments as long as we could before booking a flight home early.
Very noisy place to stay with trains through the night and ppl dragging chairs till 4am
Salou itself is not much better boring, expensive

I went to Cye Holiday Centre a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed. The rooms were spacious and very clean. It was situated in a very good location. Great holiday!

Top Local Tips for Salou
Port Aventura! Go to see it...brilliant!! and go on all the rides, especially sea oddesy, templo de fuego and dragon kahn!
Bus Stop Fantastic bar we went here everynight, make sure you get a pint of lager instead of bottle though as its 1 Euro cheaper.
Portaventura Do not buy from the reps promising to get you away fro the queues by getting your tickets at Guest relations - doen't happen - I queued for 45mins while the normal gates were empty!!!!! Not really suitable for small children - 10yrs and up is fine. Make sure you have something to eat prior to going as I queued for 1hr 10mins in the baking hot sun to get a burger for each of the family and their English is not very good - I had to try and explain in broken Spanish which I only picked up while on holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a very busy place and can queue for an hour or more to get on a 30 sec ride - height restrictions for kids is strict.Stay for the fireworks at midnight - absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!
