Please do not go to this hotel. CRAP. Salou as it is honestly the worst thing ever!!!! If the staff were nice id tell u, if the maids were nice, id tell u, both are bad really bad! the staff as a whole care not a jot that u are British, but they care if u are Russian , Spanish or illegal so do not go to this hotel.

Never met so many rude staff,didn't like the English and made a point of letting you know. Food was average,eat out but don't use the local supermarket,so expensive. Try Micky's Bar, once again staff very miserable.

Firstly I have to say that I have stayed at this hotel about 4 or 5 times, but I must stress its only because I have got it at a reasonable rate through certain sites. It was convenient for me as I visit salou often to visit family. For the money I paid I accept how this hotel is, but if it was for my main holiday I would be very disapointed. If you are British, do not expect to get a warm welcome at this hotel, they will make your check in - awkward and I think they do a little role playing that they have no paperwork for you. This has happened to me every time I have stayed there!! If you are half board, the only meal worth rushing down for is the breakfast, that is not great, but there is something to be salvaged from it. When you get your keys, be sure to check that your room does not look over an alley, as a lot of them do. this month i was there was the 1st time I got a half decent view, only because I asked. If a sea view or pool view is not available ask for a view over the tennis court as this also covers cap salou village which is great for people watching. I actually prefer this view over the other two as the pool view is usualy the pool from apartments next door and usually just a glimpse of the sea. the street view is much more interesting. The rooms are very basic, but they are clean and maid service is daily. A plus to this hotel is the private beach which is lovely as u don't have to climb the hills!!!! But they do charge for the chairs and loungers which I think is wrong as it is a private beach to the hotel, but when u ask they say it is not private. It is owned seperate, but the hotel advertises it as a private beach. I suppose its when it suits. Around the pool u tend to get ousted out and u feel u should not be there. Just a little warning, the reception staff bite....so bite back, they are so rude.

Hotel clean, staff heplful, reception staff spoke conversation english, holidayed with teenager and toddler, hotel has its own beech quiet safe for kids, entertainment in near by bars, not great night life but then when with kids cant get up to much, enough to do so that u dont get bored, short bus journey in salou centre for more activities

THE KNIGHT INN knights inn was recomended to us by other people staying in the area it seemed most people ate there , prices were very reasonable the steak was fantastic, and its great for the kids. the food in the hotel was better than expected lots of choice we were very happy all round and had a great time
