Good kitchen. Not far from the sea. Rooms are not large, but we had a super balcon:)) Services as usually in 3* hotels.

Well this has got to be the worst hotel in Salou!! Don't be fooled by the pictures on the web sites it doesn't look any thing like it!! The only picture that is right is the one showing the outside off the hotel!!!!!!!!
The food in the restaurant was so bad we didn't eat there in the end, it was always cold or if the kids had burgers they were raw!!!!
The bar staff were rude and didn't serve you until they had finished with the Spanish!
None off the games machines worked for most off the 2 weeks we were their
The swimming pools (yes their is 2) are small get 2 lilos in them and that was it
If your looking for a nice QUITE holiday is not the hotel for you their is two very noise nightclubs at the back off the hotel that open at 10pm and close at 6am so you will get no sleep!!!!!!!!
Like I said the worst hotel we have stayed in and I've stayed in some crap ones before!!!!!!!!!

What a great holiday

People have said that the hotel was rubbish and that the staff was rubbish but they weren't. I went September 2005 and it was great. The staff were really helpful at check it. It was quick and simple. The only thing we had to wait for was the key for the safety deposit box which was ready within a few hours. (3 euro per day +10 deposit).

The room was nice and clean, nice beds and a really clean bathroom. Maid service everyday and towels changed when you wanted.
Air conditioning was nice to have but it was also nice to sit outside. Balcony had 2 chairs and a table. I could sit there comfortably in the day with the background music on from the entertainment and relax.

The food was nice. There were always burger and chips on offer in the evening but they do a wide range of traditional dishes, pasta, kebabs and a good salad bar. Desserts nice as well.

Breakfast was good, I didn't eat everything on offer though, a chef in the restaurant making fried eggs and fresh pancakes!

Entertainment in the evening was varied, some nights there were shows and others it was in hotel competitions and free bingo.

Happy hour is 20.30 - 22.00 (they make very nice sangria, 7.80 for a jug, 2 in happy hour)

There are 2 main pools and 2 smaller Jacuzzi pools with were nice. :)

This is the worst hotel ever! We went in August 2004, there was 11 of us in our party. We arrived at what we thought was our hotel but it was another hotel, we were told our hotel was around the corner so we had to walk to ours. We got there five mins after dragging our cases. It took us ages to book in, the staff were hopeless but it was too late at night to say anything. We got to our rooms - what a shock. Really basic, dirty, no plug sockets, nothing for a brew, in fact nothing at all, but we were all tired and wanted to sleep so left it until the morning. Went to complain no rep infact no rep for days and tried to tell staff but didnt want to know. The food was hanging same everyday full of flies nothing covered, so we stopped eating by the third day and ate somewhere else. When we found the rep she was a total waste of time and didnt want to know. The large beach is ok but dont go to the small one - filthy. Shops are ok if you want to buy crap, night life is the worst couldnt find anything decent, would not recommend Salou to my worst enemy.

portaventura do not go at the weekend if you are there as all the spanish are there and it is far too busy, go through the week and the earlier the better

Salou Fountains Fountains on the main beachfront ,well worth seeing!! Especially down by the nautica restaurant.

drinking theres plenty of pubs around and also if ur a sports fan plenty of bars that show sport, also plenty of places that do a nice english cuppa!!!!!!!!
