Top Local Tips for Costa de Teguise

DO step outside the Hotel... I found that life was so rarefied that I didn't step out until the last but one day, and there are many shops and a shopping centre not five minutes away - supermarkets, a chemist, everything you might need. I am going bed and breakfast next time so can 'pay as you go' for meals in the hotel and otherwise buy snacks from the supermarkets and store in your mini-bar fridge, or eat out at the nearby usual selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. I was tempted to take food from the hotel at breakfast for lunch later, but never did, room service was good and there's a good poolside bar: when I eventually found the Supermarkets Netto and Spar I decided I would get food from there next time as it is much cheaper. If you want a good clothes shop, keep walking left from the Hotel, up the slight hill until you get to Vero Moda and a fine selection of middle-to-up-market clothes, at sensible prices.
