Top Local Tips for Costa de Teguise

Beware rip off electrical goods. We fell for it! Really thought we never would! Thought we were being sold a reputable Camcorder from a reputable manufacter. One quick search on the internet when we got back to the hotel showed that we had been ripped off and been sold a cheap copy. No way would the shop refund our money, even though I theatened to destroy his business in a month via the www. We absolutely fell for the scam he was operating - even though we thought we never would. If anyone is going shopping for electrical goods in Lanzarote and wants to know the name of this shop so they are warned, then do email me for the name and address.

Matagorda, Lanzarote a quite spot for those who want a quite holiday. Lots of senior citizens seem to like this area.

Volcano Tour Don't do it unless your obsessed with rocks and staying on a coach... other than getting off twice to watch a bit of water spurt in the air and a bit of bush catch fire (literally). Plus you have to pay for your lunch, it was around £40 each... total rip off and lots of yawning will ensue! Enjoyed the very last part visiting a volcanic winery, but that's about it.
