I have been travelling to Tossa de mar frequently for the past 4 years and am very familiar with this hotel. The owner is a very nice, pleasant man who will go out of his way to help his clients. The hotel is in a brilliant setting, enjoying a beachfront location and the views from the rooms are spectacular. Everytime I have visited this hotel (at least 3 times per year) I have felt very welcomed. The hotel is always kept immaculately clean, the service is always up to scratch and I have found the staff to be very pleasant, particularly the owner, whom I now class as a very good friend due to his hospitality. The food and drinks are always well presented (check out the ice cream selection!) and I have never found the hotel to be noisy, if anything it's quiet in comparrison with others in the area. In my opinion this hotel is a little gem amongst some of the larger hotel chains where you simply don't receive the same standard of one-to-one attention. I think this speaks for itself as most of the clients at this hotel are people who return year after year.

Tossa de mar is a very nice town, but I found this hotel to be overpriced for the service I received. The hotel did not have any outside space or a dining area. Breakfast was served in a public area downstairs. I found some of the staff to be most unpleasant, particularly the owner who appeared most standoffish. The hotel also had a bar area and terrace, but I found the food and drinks were very expensive compared to similar establishments nearby. It came as no surprise that other bars were quite busy and this one was not! All in all, I didn't find this hotel a very relaxing place to stay. I'm glad that I was only there for a few nights as I don't think I could stand any longer.

I have to agree with the first couple. This hotel is diabolical! I love Tossa de Mar, but not this hotel! The service was very poor and I had to wait forever to get served. The hotel appeared to be overun by students who were obviously working there to make some extra cash in the summer tourist season. I wouldn't recommend it as it is quite expensive compared to other 2 star rated hotels in the area. Go to Tossa, but don't go to this hotel if you want a relaxing holiday, as all I came back with was a thumping great headache!

I stayed in the Hotel Corisco for nearly three months last year. I'll be there most of this summer. I've travelled all over Europe but have not found anywhere as great ...and so cheap too. Why it's got an average rating of 1/10, I cannot explain. Go there, you won't regret it.

Absolutely terrible! Very poor service. no reception, just a sign on the counter directing you to the bar. Breakfast was served in the fast food area under the hotel. Hotel had no outside space. The toilets weren't maintained properly either. Hotel was very noisy too due to it being situated over a fast food outlet. Very poor value for money and very expensive for a 2* hotel. Would not reccommend under any circumstances. You have been warned!
