I thought it was very relaxing. Staff were great. I recommend it to everyone who wants a relaxing holiday.

This hotel has been recently refurbished- unfortunately it must have all been spent on the reception area: which will lure you into a false sense of security. The bedroom was very basic with dated furniture, a TV that did not work, the bed sheets had blood stains on them and the balcony was not straight and wobbled if you touched the railings. The Bathroom wasn't much better and had graffitti on the wall that was dated from 2004! The view was of the pool which was scruffy, and constantly full off drunken youth groups and stag groups. The noise from the pool went on till 2AM every morning with no effort from the staff to eradicate this behaviour, in fact the security guard/ night porters just shrugged when we complained.
After our 2nd night at this hotel we asked to move rooms. The 1 helpful staff (British Receptionist) moved us to another room in another building that didnt overlook the pool, but warned us it hadnt been cleaned yet but would get done later in the day. So, at 8AM we moved to this room and left for the day. When we returned (10 hours later) it hadnt been cleaned and the cleaners had gone home. We got moved again. To a room that was clean..er but overlooked another part of the hotel, with a courtyard which I presume people had used as a toilet from ther windows! We closed the curtains and got some sleep, looking forward to our flight home the next day.
The location of the hotel is great as it is central in Lloret and not far from the beach. The only problem is your transfer will drop you off a few streets away which can be quite intimadating if you do not know were you are going; especially at night.
This hotel should only be visited by people looking for boozy holidays, who want the cheapest accomodation available as they are planning to be drunk for their whole stay at the hotel. So, only go if you are youth/ college group/ stag/ hen doo and do not mind be up to all hours of the morning and need no other comforts other than alcohol!!
Lloret itself is a bit nicer, and the beach is very clean. Think Blackpool and your almost there (apart from the beach)
I have scored this hotel as a 1, as 0 is not an option so lets say the one is purely for its location!

The hotel food Avoid the food try the steak house near the main strip opisite Burger King its great!

The best time of year to go to Lloret I was in Lloret in early June 2007 and as previously considered it was most likely the best time of year to go there togehter with month September. The reasons are: 1) the weather is harm, yet not too hot; 2) the prices are quite lower that in Lloret's high season which is July and August; 3) the city is quite full of people yet not overcrowed by youngsters on summer vacation.

Marineland Great day to see the dolphins, never took so many photos in one day. Only thing is the food is very expensive and your not supposed to take picnics. Also water park included.
