i spent a week at the hotel from the 7 to 14 and enjoyed every moment the food was excelent and differed every day there was also plenty of it.the bar staff were efficiant and friendly.we also took a couple of trips recomended by the hotel and they turned out to be well worth the money. we also made some new friends including a mad scts man and his family.all in all a great holiday

hotel clean maid service very good.food not vety good same thihg day after day having been in previous allinclusive hotels this one was far below standard.bar staff not vey freindly eveything seemde too much trouble.hotel very noisey hard to sleep due to noisey people would not recommend to families or couples wanting a quiet holiday would not go to that hotel again

one of the reception staff was very ignorant, and abrupt.otherwise the rest of staff were great,especially the waitresses.food was good and hotel was clean and tidy,ideally located for access to the beach

3RD TIME HERE AND IT WAS GREAT...DIDNT REALLY LIKE THE FOOD COS IT WAS ALWAYS THE SAME ..BUT LOVED IT ON THE NIGHT TIME AFTER THE BAR SHUTS IN THE HOTEL AT 12 WE WENT TO THE ROBIN HOOD OVER THE ROAD IT WAS GREAT WE HAD SUM GOOD LAUGHS IT WAS MY SISTERS BIRTHDAY AND IN THE HOTEL THEY LET US PUT BANNERS UP AND SUM PHOTOS THAT WE PRINTED OUT OF HER COS IT WAS HER 18TH SO THAT WAS NICE OF THEM WE WILL BE RETURNIN IN THE SUMMER 09...SEE YOUS THEN WOOOP WOOOP !!!

Staff friendly and helpful,room fine. Food choice and quality poor. Range and quality of drinks and wines for half board guests unacceptablem, although top prices were being charged.

We went to relax, and we certainly did. The hotel was spotless, the bar staff was excellent, the maids were great, the animation team were brill. I would recommend it. Great for families, always something for everyone. Hope to be going back again next year. The food was great too. Have nothing bad to say. All round a great holiday. Thanks to all the staff and to Thomas Cook who we booked with. This was everything we wanted and more.

the bar staff were all brilliant they made it fun Alex would always have a little swing on the bar things and the others wood have a wee carry on it was brilliant my fav was Alex with the he was really funny n nice.

Well I had to say myself that I loved this holiday. The staff that worked at the bar downstairs were the best part of it. I went with my 2 aunts and 2 uncles and my cousins and 1 of their boyfriends. It was the best of fun and I loved Alex and Francisco soo much they were real fun, but my cousin had a boyfriend with her and she loved Alex and she wrote him a note and told him what she thought of him and now me and her cry every morning and every night because we miss them all so much and it was not just them 2 bar men, it was all of them, I forget there names just lol . I miss them all so much.

The location was ok about 15 min walk to the town centre! The cleaners pinched all my money out of my draw! The staff behind the bar and reception are great!

Both my wife and I decided to book a short break at The Four Star Htop Royal Sun in Santa Susanna. On arriving there we found the place to be like an old peoples home and the bar staff to be very arrogant. The room that we were allocated was the size of a walk in closet. I actually fell over the bed when entering the room. I would question if any of the Hotels in this review were Four Star and would like to know where they get their star ratings.
The next day we asked for a transfer to Lloret de Mar and we were offered to stay at the Htop Royal Sun. On arrival at the Hotel in Lloret de Mar we witnessed a large group of Englishmen who had obviously been at the hotel for a few nights already, they were all drunk, loud and the night previous had caused a lot of damage and some had put excrement into the drawers of their hotel room before leaving. This is what they call checking out??
I was glad to see them leave, however when going to the bar for drinks I found the staff to be very arrogant they never smiled apart from one waiter who seemed to be able to distinguish normal people to that of the drunken element that frequented the bar and pool area. There were lots of people there who would drink themselves into oblivion and who would become aggressive, coming in at 3 or 4am and banging doors, screaming obscenities at each other until 5 or 6 in the morning.
The food in the restaurant was always cold and the snacks would be ok if you liked cold chips or fat filled, greasy hamburgers & bacon. . My wife and I spent most of our time in our room and ate out most of the time due to the substandard, cold food, the terrible entertainment and the attitude of the bar staff.
We decided to visit the Royal Star hotel at the same resort and contrary to what the travel agent told us, we were not allowed to use the facilities in the hotel apart from eating lunch there or drinking with the drunks. The food at this hotel was slightly better, even though they labelled Liver as Veal, and the restaurant had a distinct smell of sewage. The staff here seemed no different and were not very friendly.
Entertainment at all the hotels we visited was terrible and reminded me of the worst of the X factor, I actually thought that the acts were comedians however later found out that they were serious.
If you are a normal family or couple who wishes for a relaxing holiday without the hassle of feeling like you are in a Hostel environment for drunks and weirdo's then stay away from the Hotels that I mentioned.
If you are a drunken lout and just want a cheap drinking session with all of your mates, then this is certainly the place for you. The cold food shouldn't bother you, as you would not remember it anyway.
On a Positive note, This Hotel is clean and the lady who cleaned our room each day was very very nice.

Top Local Tips for Lloret de Mar
ACCESSIBLE Even though most of the clubs were closed (out of season) you can easily get to them by walking and taxis are relatively cheap(there are no night buses). I would like to go back.
GETTING AROUND The buses and trains are cheap and reliable. I would recommend a bus to and from the airport if you want to cut costs. We booked a transfer to and from the airport via the website we booked the holiday with and we got ripped off. We also had to wait over an hour at the airport on arrival before we could go as the coach was waiting for flights from Liverpool and Glasgow to arrive! I would say the buses are the best way to get around the Costa Blanca generally. Their public transport puts ours to shame!
There is nothing else to see here Do not come to Lloret de Mar if you want to leave having a good experience.
