This hotel is more suited to younger people who just want somewhere to sleep after clubbing. It was noisy at night when the clubs closed and everyone got back, to be fair there was a match on and so the people making the noise were actually the football fans nothing to do with the hotel itself. Had to move floors but purely for that reason. The rooms were clean and as was the hotel in general. The food wasn't bad, same stuff lunch and dinner but edible, breakfast was good though closed pretty early. The all inclusive drinks were brilliant generous helpings to say the least. Hotel entrance a little dodgy at night as down an alleyway.
In general it was very good for what we paid as we must have drank that at least once!

The hotel wasnt too bad, in fact considering the price it was pretty good. Basic accomodation. A bed, a shower and a loo? What more do you expect for the money?
Food wasn't as bad as some said, it was VERY basic and the same every day but edible (so long as you like chips!)
Our room was clean and tidy and the staff seemed helpful.
Our break was ruined by a large group of Celtic fans who started drinking as soon as the bar opened and didnt stop! Non stop banging on doors, ringing phones and generally acting like football hooligans!
Overall, if you wanted a cheap place to stay and you're just wanting to go clubbing and enjoy the nightlife then Casino Royal is for you....a family holiday it definitely isn't!!!

Bedlam is the only way to describe this place. Noise all night no sleep. Left after one night. Doors banging, being kicked in and being knocked on including ours all night. Screaming shouting etc. Reported to reception by during night but nothing happend to frightened to leave room or would have left. Reception not interested in complaints when left next day. The place is also a dump not worth 3 stars. Never again

My wife and I went to this hotel for a 3 night stay. Upon arrival, the hotel looks grand but how wrong we were. When we reached the reception area, they were dealing with 4 police personnel after some disturbance or something worse. You do get the welcome knocking on doors at 5am or earlier. The food is just horrible and we ate out rather than use the all inclusive. The drinks are given in plastic beakers and just rinsed under the cold tap. The sandwich bar is covered over with the table cloth what you place your drinks on and yep touching the grub which will be left for the next morning. The only good thing was my room over looked the local football pitch. So if you go to this hotel or hostel as it looks once inside be warned .

I stayed at this hotel from January 7th to the the 10th 2008, however i will not be going back. I have read previous reviews about the hotel and you either love it or hate it.
You will get no sleep due to the neighbours running up and down the corridors and banging on doors till 5am. The security tried to prevent it but basically said "stop it" then went away, which was no good for controlling rowdy bunches of young people.
The food was ok but you have very limited times which you can eat, such as half an hour for your lunch and evening meal. The selection of food was ok but not fantastic. The snack bar which is open pretty much all day just consists of a few sandwiches and some soggy crisps...
There were ants running riot in our bathroom, the maid only came once, and a wardrobe door nearly killed me when it fell off its hinges.
The staff seem to be fairly pleasant.
The entertainment at night however was nothing to be impressed by.
It was like a working mens club.
The surrounding area to the hotel is nice, with plenty of shops and bars, and it's only 5 minutes to the beach which is really nice also.
If you want a cheap holiday where you don't plan on getting back to your room until 5am then you'll be fine, otherwise I'd look for something else. Also I wouldn't suggest this hotel for families.

It was horrible. Rooms were small and 2 beds out of three were broken, toilet wasn't working in room of my friend and we had insects in room!!! newer again in lloret de mar!!!!! Stay away from that hotel....

Myself and my husband booked this hotel. We are a young couple. when reading previous reviews I was dreading it but when we got there the staff were brilliant. The rooms were basic, but clean with cleaners every day the all inclusive bar was fantastic the food was ok with a good vartiety we had the greatest time we booked back up with our friends.I wouldn' take children though. We only paid 150 for 3 nights and 4 days we ate and drank more than that in the first day.

I've just come back, food was horrible not choice always the same, we was all inclusive and we had 2 meals in hotel! Too noisy at night time, I mean about 2am people charting in corridor, etc. Bedrooms need to be refurninshed urgently. We don't recommend.

Worst hotel ever. Will not ever return just glad we only went for weekend. Don't go if you have kids or want a quiet weekend away!!!!!!!!!!! Never again we will go here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crap for every thing even down to A/L worst ever!!!!

distance from airport be prepared for a long ride, hours from airport , picking up and dropping off on route

Never again I went there with my school, the place was horrible. Food disgusting, rooms are not safe enough anybody can cam into your room, just have to push door harder, balcony doors same thing. To much beds in one small room. In bathroom u don't have cold and hot water on the same tap.

Bus or taxi The bus station is across the road, most of the locals speak English. The furthest we went was Girona and it was €4.60 each.
