First of all, if your a British tourist looking to get a good holiday and a laugh with the other guests in your hotel, I wouldnt recommend this hotel. We found it to be full of Germans, Dutch and Spanish, who were just sleazy (mostly the Spanish men) and couldnt speak a word of english.
The reception staff were the worst staff I have ever encountered! Mainly just the women, who were very rude, and basically couldnt be bothered listening to what you had to say. They would slam things down and huff n puff constantly.
The rooms were cleaned everyday, although we were only there for a week, or bed sheets were never changed once.
The food I dont wont to get started on! I must admit, I am a fussy eater, but this food was beyond a joke, this stuff was the same every night. Fish, pork and occasionally a bit of chicken and the CHIPS! OMG! I will die if I look at chips ever again! They had Chips with everything, even breakfast! Yuck! If you are vergetarian, they have nothing there to cater for vegetarians, very poor.
Our hotel view over looked onto another hotel, but must admit, even though we were next to all the nightlife, you couldnt hear any noise at night. Although we did have very noisy holidaymakers in the hotel across from us, who would insist on talking through a megaphone to everyone that passed, from 3am till 7am, that was very annoying, esp wen you are hungover! I cant really comment on our pool, we never went to it.From wot we saw, it only got the sun from 4pm onwards.
We went to the beach everyday, although it wasnt a sand beach, it was made up of grit and stones. Very sore and hot to walk on!
Not much to do during the day! But there is alot of good bars.
A week was long enough! I would recommend Lloret de Mar to anyone, but not the hotel if you are British. As it is not British orientated.
