As you approach el pekinaire from its backstreet location you wonder what it will be like. But, from the moment you step into the place you are struck by its cleanliness, orderliness, immaculately clean, tastefully decorated bedrooms you cannot fail to be impressed.
The bar is very reasonably priced, the bedrooms have all the facilities that you would expect from a three star hotel and the breakfast is adequate. They even make a brave attempt at an English breakfast.(More tea and sunny side up needed).
You can be met at the airport - nothing is too much for the hosts.
The place is also popular with the locals - a good sign.
I cannot praise this pension too highly. Try it.

The rooms were immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Looking forward to staying there again in 2009.

We stayed at the hotel for the first time in the summer for a weekend break. We have booked to stay again. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are very nice. It is the best hotel we have stayed at in calella. The breakfast is very good. If you're not bothered about a pool I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed many times, a regular. Where else can you book a clean roomy en-suite hotel that picks you up from the airport to the hotel and back again, and the prices are very reaonable, they speak good english, will change pounds into euro`s all in all a very good hotel.

Andreas, Julian and the staff at the Pekinaire provide an excellent service to guests. The rooms were very clean, well appointed and nothing was too much trouble. For a bed & breakfast, you cannot go wrong here. The Breakfast was a choice of full english / continental. It was all round good value for money. Well done!
