Excellent apartments!
from A TripAdvisor Member
We have just returned from a week at Terralta Apartments - they were fantastic and hope to return again soon. They are clean, well maintained and the pool is excellent. Terralta is based in the old town but you can quite easily walk into the new town and will find a load of shops on the way that you might miss if you don't walk - we only discovered them 2 days before we came home. We found the food to be fine at the apartments although did eat out most evenings in the new town. The food here was great and at very good prices! Any one with children will find these apartments ideal.
PS Don't forget to visit Mundomar - the dolfin show is fantastic! Buy tickets at reception for a discount and get a bus or just get a taxi like we did, but it is well worth a visit!

What a beautiful clean hotel

My wife and I stayed here in March, it was a beautiful hotel. My wife has Ashma and I have a bad knee but because of the public transport we had no problems with the location. The staff were outstanding and could not do enough for any of the guests. We will certainly be staying here again.

i just got back from terralta last night i liked it and im nearly 14. the rooms r very clean and there is alot of space in them with gd kitchen and all equipment u need liek a kettle, toaster, microwave. tehe cleaner comes in once or twice a week in our 1 week stay, when we arrived though we did find it hard gettin cases up the steps and nobody showed us or helped us, to get in ur room u have a electronic card what is easy to use. the entertainment is oki but it was earlyseason and was only end of march tehre was bingo and karioke and quizes and shows on which i enjoyed it was gr8 in the bar the waiters are very friendly and so are all the staff. entertianment for kids is good as there is a mini disco and facepaintin and games through the day sumtimes. downstairs teher is a games room which is kool but cud av a few more games in it. on site near reception there is a mini market what cells most stuff what u need. pool was cleaned and there was a indoor one for not so good weather with a jaccuzi. the hotel its self is gd but it is quet part ov benidorm as its the old town but its only 4 to 5 euros for a taxi ride to new benidorm. teh beach is 10 mins away but is a hill to go up on teh way back but we walked up and down it a few times. i will probs go bk to terralta sum time soon i enjoyed it an dthere is loads fo fit lads stayin there too.

We returned a week ago from the terralta apartments in benidorm, wow what a fab place for self catering, the apartments are well equiped, and clean, we had linen and towel changed twice in the week we were there, the staff were very helpful. The steep hill we had read about wasn't bad at all, the little supermarket on site was quite good for bits to keep you going. The food in the restraunt was okay, kids loved it ours are all in their early teens and were never bored plenty to do,games in the afternoon, pools, games room ok but could do with more video game machines we thought. We had a fab time and will definately go back.
Terrific Terralta

Just returned from Terralta Apartments 5/3/05,an excellent all round experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well maintained and equipped, as were the public areas. All the staff we met were friendly and professional. The incline leading up to the Terralta wasn't a problem,my wife and I are both in our mid 50's and walked to and from town several times a day. On two occassions we used a taxi from town to the apartments at a cost of 3Euros 60 per journey, very good value. We would certainly return to the Terralta as these are probably the best apartments we have stayed in

Terralta, Best Apartments I have stayed in

Only a quick review as it is a year since I stayed. We went September 2003. Fantastic value. Fantastic apartments-Faultless. Very good bar area. Very reasonable prices for food and drink. Food very acceptable. Even the evening entertainment was better than standard with more variety. Some reviewers have mentioned the incline of the apartments. If you are handicapped then MAYBE don't go. Otherwise go. It must be the plain lazy or unfit who found it an inconvenience. It is only a 9 minute walk down to the sea front. And yes, it is an uphill walk back but nothing strenuous. My wife and 2 children coped. If you have already booked-lucky you. If you are thinking of booking-book it.

I can't believe how unfit the reviewers must be. We stayed at the Terralta in July and only ever got a taxi back if we'd gone to Terra Mitica.
My 4 year old daughter, 8 year old son, 40 year old husband and I often raced up the hill. There is a steep route and a not so steep route and if you're willing to explore a bit you soon find the easy way , passed the supermarket.
The appartments are superb; we did get the two bedroomed one for the four of us and was worth the extra two hundred quid not to make up beds nightly. They were so spacious and cleaned every three or four days. The pool area is also excellent.
If you love theme parks as we do, get a season's pass to Terra Mitica. Under 5s are free and it was just about a hundred pounds for the 3 of us. Another tip is go to the park late. After 6 or 7 you do not have to queue for anything and you can just stay on the rides time and time again. The height restrictions are fair and my 4 year old went on the 3 water rides 11 times in about an hour, she was soaked yes.
We are off to Florida next year but will happily return to the Terralta in 2006.

Terralta Apartments - Loved It!
from A TripAdvisor Member
My family and me went to the Terralta Apartments on the 17th of August 04. I loved every minute there. The apartments were very clean and the staff were very friendly. The swimming pools were amazing with loads of activities in the swimming pool. Food was fantastic, even though it was nothing too fancy. Pool bar was handy so was the mini market. There is a games room downstairs which was great for people my age. The apartments have their own entertainment programme, which was smashing. There are plenty of GORGEOUS lads there! The only drawback is the hill it’s on - ok if you’re fit but get a taxi otherwise! Looking forward to going back with my friends in 2006.
